It makes the noise when you come to a stop and again when you accelerate. Anyone else experiencing this and maybe have a fix? It's driving me crazy. I have a 2005 Chrysler 300C, 5.7 Hemi engine, with about 50,000 miles, it is not a daily driver. Mods are Kooks headers, high flow cats, Coras exhaust, Volant CAI, 180 tstat, MSD wires and coils packs. 12-26-09/ 39,500 miles. Also, make sure all the spark plugs are in good order. Another thing that can cause idle issues is a bad or failing EGR Valve. If this is happening though, you'd also probably notice low speed (~35-45 mph) surging, loss of performance and fuel economy and maybe, in addition to poor idle quality, occasional stalling.
