Guys, My mechanic (at the dealership) keeps telling me my 5.7 RWD 300c has a sealed transmission that is essentially non serviceable. Now I know it has no dipstick (like a lot of Mercedes) and is to help keep it clean and keep unknowing owners from pouring crap down into the transmission which is the #1 cause of transmission issues, but I thought it still needed service and filter replacements

It makes the noise when you come to a stop and again when you accelerate. Anyone else experiencing this and maybe have a fix? It's driving me crazy.
I have a 2005 Chrysler 300C, 5.7 Hemi engine, with about 50,000 miles, it is not a daily driver. Mods are Kooks headers, high flow cats, Coras exhaust, Volant CAI, 180 tstat, MSD wires and coils packs. 12-26-09/ 39,500 miles. I opened the garage door and found coolant on the floor, topped off the 50/50 orange coolant and drove, no leaks while

The 2005 Touring I inherited as a company car in 2006 with 25,000 miles on it.
Press the "ON/VOL" control button. The word "CODE" or " Please enter Anti-Theft Code" will appear on the display. Enter the 4-digit code by pressing the corresponding preset buttons in sequence. NOTE: If three consecutive attempts are made to enter an invalid anti-theft code the radio will enter a ‘WAIT’ state.
Front CV Axle question. I just replaced the front brakes on the 300C (AWD obviously), and I noticed the front CV shaft on the drivers side was ripped and leaking. The outside of the inner cv boot was completely ripped away from the metal clamp holding it on the shaft. Is there a replacement boot for that, or do I need a whole new shaft to get a
Looking for advice: I have a 2006 300C with the premium Bose Radio and Navigation system. Recently the large 3"x4" LCD Radio screen started going on the fritz. When I start the car the screen and controls work find for the first 10 minutes or so. Then the Radio LCD screen goes blank, but the radio and the preset stations still work fine.

The average Chrysler 300 equipped with the stock 3.6-liter V6 isn't typically a favorite to win at the local drag strip. For reference, in testing by MotorTrend, the V6, with 300 hp and 264 lb-ft of torque, propelled the relatively large 300 through the 1/4-mile in 15.1 seconds at 95.5 mph. So apparently, there's more to this 300 than what came

Also, make sure all the spark plugs are in good order. Another thing that can cause idle issues is a bad or failing EGR Valve. If this is happening though, you'd also probably notice low speed (~35-45 mph) surging, loss of performance and fuel economy and maybe, in addition to poor idle quality, occasional stalling.
P1417 and P0300 Rough Idle Fix. Disconnect both battery cables and rub, them together. (This will clear the PCM memory) Then replace the Cam position sensor First, it's right by the thermostat housing and a 5 minute fix. Hook the cables back up and see if it fixed the problem.
